Our 5083 aluminum sheets and plates comply with ASTM B209, ASME SB209 and ANSI H35.1/H35.1(M) requirements. Each product undergoes stringent quality inspections for size and polish. The alloy provides a minimum proof stress of 125 MPa. Tensile strength ranges between 275 and 350 MPa. Hardness is approximately 75 HB. Elongation is a minimum of 12%. These values indicate an appropriate balance of strength and ductility. The material is resistant to corrosion in both marine and chemical environments. It also works effectively in low temperatures. The flat surface allows for easy cutting, bending, and welding without compromising its strength.
