Iron and manganese improve the alloy's resistance to erosion and corrosion in high-velocity seawater and brine.

Cupro Nickel 90/10 Flanges Machining

Cupro Nickel 90/10 flanges can be easily machined using conventional turning, drilling, and milling methods. However, due to their high copper content, special considerations must be taken to avoid work hardening and tool wear. Sharp cutting tools and low cutting speed and feed rate are recommended for optimal results. Additionally, the alloy's thermal conductivity is higher than other metals, and care must be taken during welding to prevent distortion and cracking.
