Hastelloy C-276, a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy accompanied by tungsten, provides exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The C-276 alloy is resistant to chlorine, chloride, and sulfuric acid up to 2000°F (1093°C).
