Nickel Alloy Incoloy 800 Angles Features

Inconel 800 Angle is an alloy that operates at high temperatures up to 870°C. It also possesses high creep rupture strength, good corrosion, and excellent oxidation resistance. This alloy can be welded and formed through various processes, including hot-working, cold-forming, and machining. Inconel 825 Flats Corrosion Resistance

Incoloy 825 flats, on the other hand, are an alloy that has a similar composition to Inconel 800 but provides better corrosion resistance to sulfuric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acids. This alloy is also resistant to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking and local pit corrosion. Some common applications of Inconel 825 flats include pickling tanks, chemical processing equipment, and acid production units.

Incoloy 800 Angles Chemical Composition

Inconel 800 Alloy contains 32% Nickel, 21% Chromium, and 1.2% Aluminum. The remaining elements include Iron, Manganese, Sulfur, Carbon, and Silicon. This alloy's high nickel content gives it excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance. The aluminium content enhances the high-temperature properties of the alloy.

 

Inconel 825 Flats Applications

Incoloy 825 Alloy contains 42% Nickel, 22% Chromium, and 2.8% Molybdenum. The remaining elements include Iron, Copper, Titanium, Aluminum, and Aluminum. The high nickel, chromium, and molybdenum content provides excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. This alloy is commonly used for chemical processing, oil and gas recovery, acid production, and nuclear fuel reprocessing.

Inconel 800 Angles Physical & Mechanical Properties

Inconel 800 Alloy offers excellent physical and mechanical properties. It has a density of 7.94 g/cm3, a melting point of 1385°C, and a thermal conductivity of 11.4 W/m.K. The alloy possesses good tensile strength of 500-700 MPa and 200-400 MPa yield strength. The elongation at break is 30-40%, while the fatigue and impact strength are also high.
