Super Duplex Steel F53 Fasteners Features

F53 is a super duplex stainless steel that has 25% chromium, 7% nickel, and 4% molybdenum in its composition. Super Duplex Steel 32750 Fasteners Corrosion Resistance

Super Duplex Steel 32750 Fasteners have 25% chromium, 6% nickel, and 3% molybdenum in their composition. Due to this, they offer outstanding resistance to corrosion caused by chlorides, acids, and alkaline solutions. Besides, they have excellent fatigue strength, which makes them useful for critical and demanding applications such as offshore and marine environments. Additionally, the 32750 fasteners have high mechanical strength and a low thermal expansion coefficient, making them suitable for cryogenic conditions.

Super Duplex Steel 2507 Fasteners Chemical Composition

Super Duplex Steel 2507 Fasteners contain 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and 0.27% nitrogen in their composition. This combination of elements makes them highly resistant to corrosion caused by chloride ions, acidic environments, and seawater. The 2507 fasteners have excellent weldability, low thermal expansion coefficient, and high thermal conductivity. These properties make them suitable for heat exchangers, chemical tanks, and pressure vessels in oil and gas, chemical processing, and pulp and paper industries.

Super Duplex Steel F53 Fasteners Heat Treatment

F53 fasteners require a solution annealing treatment at 1050-1100 degrees Celsius followed by water cooling to ensure the microstructure's homogeneity. This process promotes the precipitation of finely dispersed carbides, which impart better resistance to corrosion and erosion. Additionally, F53 fasteners must undergo a two-step ageing process to enhance their mechanical properties. This process involves heating the fasteners to 720-760 degrees Celsius for four hours and then cooling them in the air for eight hours.
